The only wall of its kind in the world. The futuristic structure was built in 2000: four steel arches suspended from pairs of pylons 25 m high support the climbing wall and the polycarbonate cover. This transparent roof lets you see the sheer rocks of the Rupe del Castello behind the great artificial walls, a great link to the rock wall which hosted the first climbing competition here twenty years ago. The dimensions of the competition wall are also record breakers – 18 metres high with 16 metres of overhang. Every year the "ROCK MASTER" competition is held here.
In July 2011 this stadium saw the 11th Climbing World Championship and the first Paraclimbing World Championship.
