The Christmas market in Arco
In the alleys of the historic center of Arco, decked out in full Habsburg atmosphere, surrounded by delicious scents and magical lights, you can find the huts of the Arco Christmas market all along the church and in the two squares, all lit up and offering visitors the best local food and wine, with crafts, decorations and gifts for sale. The market begins every year in the second half of November, and animates the town until Jan 6th, the Epiphany, with a rich program of events. We are talking about creative workshops for children, magic shows, nativity scenes, concerts, educational farms and so much more!
The Villaggio del Gusto and the House of Santa Claus in Riva
Nearby Riva del Garda also welcomes Christmas visitors with special events. One of them is the "di Gusto in Gusto" market, the most delicious Christmas market ever: the historic center of the city becomes a destination for foodies, with cheeses, cured meats, mulled wine and hot chocolate. Little ones will love visiting the House of Santa Claus, the Trentino branch of the famous North Pole mansion, where children can write their own letter and deliver it in person to Santa Claus, among playful elves and kind fairies.
Trentino Christmas Markets in Canale di Tenno and Rango
There are many more Trentino Christmas markets to discover. Those looking for something unique can head to Canale di Tenno, where a Christmas market takes place among the courtyards and houses of this charming medieval village, with amazing handicrafts made by local artisans and artists. Equally scenographic and magical is the Christmas market in Rango, near Bleggio, among stone vaulted ceilings, alleys, wood sheds and barns that allow visitors to travel back in time.
